About Us

Enema Bag.com, a premier website for enema expertise, evolved from Kristina Amelong's colon hydrotherapy practice, Optimal Health Center, in Madison, Wisconsin. Since founding the center in October 1998, Kristina has worked with about 3,500 clients to help them improve their colon health and overall wellbeing.

Kristina was inspired to become an internationally certified colon hydrotherapist due to her success in using the colon cleanse to reclaim her own health. As a colon hydrotherapist, she learned that an enema can clear out the entire colon when the enema procedure is administered with skill and the proper enema equipment.

Inspired that the enema could be an effective grassroots healing tool in a time of rising health problems and a collapsing health system, Kristina set out to educate herself through health courses, book learning, clinical practice, and listening carefully to the personal stories of fellow enema users. Through these dedicated efforts, she became an enema expert.

In the summer of 2001, Kristina launched EnemaBag.com as a detailed resource for unique enema information and innovative enema equipment that can help others who wish to utilize the colon cleanse expertly, cost-effectively, and successfully in the context of an overall health program. This work has culminated in her recently published book, Kristina Amelong's Ten Days to Optimal Health: A Guide to Nutritional Therapy and Colon Cleansing.
